Amino embraces the responsibility it has to its employees, customers and the communities in which we live and operate.

We have developed and devised a corporate social responsibility programme to better articulate the existing work the company does and provide a framework for future development.

The four areas of focus are:

Workplace

Amino is a responsible employer, providing a pleasant and professional working environment in all our locations. Environment

We are acutely conscious of our responsibility as a manufacturer of electronics equipment that we have a special duty to minimise the impact of our work on the environment. This requires us to be fully compliant with a range of national, regional and international guidelines on power consumption, efficiency and recycling.

This extends from packaging through to the provision of devices that minimise the power consumed by our customers’ customers in the home. In the last 12 months, Amino has taken steps to ensure all its product packaging is 100% recyclable – and remains vigilant to ways in which further environmental impact can be managed out of production and distribution processes. Specifically, we strive to ensure that all redundant devices returned to the company are recycled almost completely.

We continue to be an active contributor and participant in a number of industry bodies to further improve performance and minimise power consumption. This extends to the way in which our buildings consume energy, where an ongoing campaign is driving down power consumption and costs.

Community

Our people are focused – not just on delivering great products, support and services - but to the communities in which they live. Through a matched funding initiative, Amino provides support for a range of charitable and community initiatives – and encourages participation through flexible working arrangements.

Amino is committed to a community plan that spans our global office network to focus our attention on local environmental and charitable causes.

Marketplace

We operate in a fast-moving market where consumer demand dictates the pace of our product development. However, some things remain constant – in terms of our commitment to the people in our supply chain. Through careful selection and vetting of our suppliers – and a strict code of conduct – we’re committed to ensuring our manufacturing processes are fully compliant to international and local environmental and labour regulations. Regular reviews by our regional teams and head office specialists are carried out to ensure compliance.

Amino has made a long term commitment to these four areas of our business and will continue to update as our plans and programmes develop.
