Donald McGarva - Chief Executive Officer*

Aged 45, Donald joined Amino as a non-executive director in April 2010, becoming Chief Operating Officer in September of the same year and subsequently Chief Executive Officer in December 2011. Previously, he was Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, for DHL Supply Chain, the world's leading logistics company. He has spent the majority of his career in Asia and the US, holding a variety of senior positions in technology, manufacturing, services, supply chain, procurement and logistics with Fujitsu, BG Group and Celestica. He is an engineering graduate from the University of Strathclyde and commenced his career in manufacturing and logistics in the UK with ICL. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Chain (MCIPS).


Julia Hornby - Chief Financial Officer*

Aged 42, Julia joined Amino as Finance Director in December 2010 and was appointed to the Amino Board in February 2011. An experienced chartered accountant with over 15 years' experience in both private equity backed businesses and listed companies, Julia was previously Chief Financial Officer at CSC Media Group, one of the UK's largest independent broadcasters, and joins Amino from Smartsense Services Limited where she worked in a consultancy capacity advising on various projects in the social networking and home shopping sectors. Her other previous roles include Group Financial Controller at Lastminute.com, during the period when the company enjoyed exceptional growth. She was also Interim Group Financial Controller at Mowlem plc, and Group Chief Financial Officer at TV Travel Group.


Dom Castley - Chief Marketing Officer & SVP Customer Services

Aged 39, Dom Castley has been with Amino since 2009 as CMO and SVP Customer Services. He heads up the marketing, customer support and validation departments and is the Account Director for Amino's first Tier 1 OTT deployment in Europe. Before Amino, Dom was the CEO of a technology brand consultancy firm in London called Korero, and was the account director for ten years for NDS, News Corporation's pay-TV technology arm. Dom is a career entrepreneur and a keen technologist, and has designed the world's first In-Flight VoD entertainment system and been awarded two patents.


Gary Hamer - SVP Global Sales


Aged 40, Gary joined Amino in 2003 working within the sales team with a hospitality and enterprise focus. In 2009 he joined the Amino executive team as Head of European Sales, later becoming Vice President Global Sales managing a worldwide sales team. He became Senior Vice President Global Sales in 2011. Prior to Amino, Gary was Head of Business Development and Sales for Yes Television, business development manager for Logica Telecoms Solutions Division and Remote Sensing Systems Development Manager for the Met Office. He has a BSc (Hons) in Physics with Planetary and Space Physics and an MSc in Meteorology, Climate and Modelling from Reading University.


Kevin Lingley - Chief Technologist

Aged 38, Kevin joined Amino in October 2008 and has worked to promote the development of OTT solutions across Amino's business with particular responsibility for the Amino Freedom product range. In 2011 he joined the Amino executive team as Chief Technologist and has more than 15 years experience in media and technology. His early career was with Acorn Computers working on IPTV platforms design, before moving to NTL (now Virgin Media) where he managed their multi platform interactive games channel. After NTL, Kevin worked in the US on WAP and J2ME games for mobile phones. In 2003, Kevin joined Sony GoInteractTV where he was engaged in both business development and mobile application development services. He then moved to SysMedia, spending his time developing interactive channels with global broadcasters, MSOs and governments. He was then appointed part of the executive team of Fluorescent Media, an independent television production company, where as Head of Technology he was responsible for the continuous development of Fluorescent Media's PHOENIX Technology Platform which powered many multiple massively interactive TV shows.


Martin Warren - Head of Programme Office

Aged 44, Martin joined Amino as Head of Programme Office in April 2010. With 20 years’ experience in public and private sector, prior to the Amino role, he was the Programme Manager at Cambridge University where he implemented Oracle Financials and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions as well as a number of business change initiatives. He has programme managed the strategic change programme at Peterborough City Council prior to this. Martin is the Managing Director of his own Programme Management consultancy called Pert Ltd. He has headed multi-million pound programmes for the major UK and worldwide media organisations including News Corporation, Guardian Media Group, Trinity Mirror Group, EMAP/Bauer, Independent Group, Dagens Nyheter , Agora SA, The Herald Group, Associated Newspapers and Publicis many of whose programmes required the implementation enterprise-wide financial and media systems.


Mike Greenall - SVP Product & Partner Management

Aged 47, Mike joined Amino in June 2002, and brings over 20 years’ experience in the global set top box and digital TV solutions market. During this time, Mike has run the hardware and software development teams, delivering the latest range of IPTV products and the new Intel®-based Freedom range and was a member of the management team which took the company through a successful IPO on the AIM index of the London Stock Exchange in 2004. As Senior Vice President for Product and Partner Management, Mike’s role is focussed on the product and partner management aspects of the business, bringing clarity and control to the product roadmaps and key partnerships. Previously, Mike held senior roles at Philips Semiconductor, C-Cube microelectronics and NEC Electronics in the area of high performance processing and digital TV solutions. He has a BSc (Hons) in Electronics from Salford University.


Rebecca Deller, HR Manager

Aged 25, Rebecca joined Amino as Human Resources Advisor in October 2009 and was later appointed Human Resources Manager. She has worked in Human Resources for seven years and is part CIPD qualified. Rebecca is also a qualified Thomas International practitioner in Personal Profiling Analysis and General Intelligence Assessment. Her previous roles include HR Consultant for Tieto UK which delivers software solutions to retail banks, building societies, mortgage lenders and debt collection agencies in the financial services industry. During her time at Tieto UK Rebecca was responsible for c.350 employees across a number of UK sites, delivered projects and initiatives as set out by the global HR Centre and also provided support to the forest and energy units in the UK.
